America Our Home

With heavy hearts and sorrow quite
beyond belief
America, indeed the world, is
overcome with grief
Our freedom has been threatened by an
evil hate filled man
He and his band of cowards have
sought to destroy our land
Their evil, twisted ideology is their
only driving force
They wreak havoc and destruction
without fear or remorse
They have journeyed from their land
across the ocean’s miles
And struck a mighty blow at innocent
men, women and child
These acts of death and terror that
have reached our shining shore
Will be met with strength and courage
and a great and mighty war
From New York to California and our
Capital’s historic dome
We will stand and fight for freedom
and America our home
Perhaps I was dreaming?

Heart Of Hearts

In my heart of hearts I keep your
love
For it’s so dear to me
Surely sent from heaven above
And you dear hold the key
Though our journey’s just begun
I want for you to know
As time goes by it will only deepen
And surely it will grow
No greater love could anyone share
Nor could they understand
For love like ours is very rare
And must be known first hand
